Comments From Featured Seeds of Learning Students
The Seeds of Learning Students have a lot to say about our programs! Below are some of their thoughts and some commentary from their teacher.

Adora, 5 years old: "I think the school is fun because I learn a lot things here. I like other students because they are fun to play with and they are nice. I think it's different because it's not like my other school. I like my teacher because she is nice and she teaches us a lot of stuff."
Teacher's Note: Adora is a highly intelligent and articulate student who began attending Seeds of Learning two years ago. Despite Adora's excellent speaking and writing skills, she has been challenged by math and handwriting. During Adora's time at the school, she has been working to improve these skills through fun exercises, games, and one-on-one instruction from the teacher. Today, Adora's handwriting and math skills have improved ten-fold, and she is excelling in the Seeds of Learning Spanish and Music programs.

Adrianna, 7 years old: "I like that we learn a lot and I like all the things we learned. It's better than my other school because my art teacher doesn't explain about things very much. I like my teacher because she teaches us a lot of things. She is also fun to play with. She tells details so we understand more."
Teacher's Note: Adrianna is a wonderful student who enjoys learning and excels in Foreign Languages, Art, Math, and Music. She is advanced in her studies and has done very well with the personalized attention and challenges the instructors at Seeds of Learning provide. Adrianna is working to improve her creative writing and oral presentation skills by learning about synonyms, self-expression, brainstorming, and receiving constructive comments from other students and our teacher. In the past two years, Adrianna's confidence and skills have improved immensely and her studies are advancing rapidly.

Xinyi, 8 years old: "I like this school better than my other school because we get to learn more and do more stuff. It is different because the children are nicer here than my other school. I like my teacher here. She is nice. We get to do algebra here."
Teacher's Note: Xinyi is a very kind student who loves to read and attends the Seeds of Learning After School Program. She often needs some extra help or explanations on her homework and is thriving with the individual attention she receives from our teacher. Our instructor has been encouraging Xinyi to think independently by asking her questions that lead her to correct answers. Today, Xinyi is doing great and continues to improve her critical thinking and study skills.

Ari, 9 years old.
Teacher's Note: Ari is an imaginative and enthusiastic student who is working to improve her confidence, handwriting, learning, and social skills in the Seeds of Learning After School Program. To help Ari with her difficulties, our teacher has taught her techniques such as writing correctly, reading directions thoroughly twice, and resolving conflicts effectively. With the structured environment, personalized attention, supplemental learning activities, and praise at Seeds of Learning, Ari has greatly improved her academic and social skills.

Annabelle, 9 years old.
Teacher's Note: Annabelle is a great student who attends the Seeds of Learning After School Program. When Annabelle started the program, she was challenged by speaking and writing English, which was effecting her studies and social interaction. Our teacher has been working one-on-one with Annabelle to improve her English by encouraging her to read aloud, learn spelling rules, expand her vocabulary through lessons and creative writing, and boosting her self-confidence with a lot of praise. Today, Annabelle's speaking and writing have improved significantly and she enjoys playing with other Seeds of Learning students in a welcoming and supportive environment.
