Piano
Lessons Studies show that early musical training, especially piano lessons, can actually boost a child's brain power. Researchers from the University of California at Irvine have found that 3-5 year olds who take piano lessons fare 35 percent better in school than other children in their age groups-even those taking computer lessons. In fact, some researchers say that children as young as two years old should take music lessons. Studies have linked active music making with better language and math ability, improved school grades, better-adjusted social behavior, and improvements in "spatial-temporal reasoning," which is the foundation of engineering and science. More data is coming in every day in this exciting field. Our music
instructor's teaching philosophy strongly agrees with these studies.
The primary goal of our Piano Program is to empower our students-not
only in their ability to understand and discover the personal rewards
of music-but through mastery of one field, to gain confidence in their
talents and abilities in other areas of endeavor. We strive to develop
a student's musical talents by teaching him the discipline of technique
and the creativity of interpretation. The benefits of taking piano lesson from Seeds of Learning are numerous: the most affordable tuition on the market, the superb quality of the teaching, and positive support from the teacher and one's fellow students. Private piano lessons are offered on Saturdays and some weekdays. Thirty, forty five , and sixty-minute lessons are available. Please click here for a sample piano lesson plan. Please fill out the Inquiry Form to learn more, arrange a time to meet the teacher and observe the class. If you know a child who would benefit from any SOL program, please click here to recommend them quickly and easily and your child could earn tuition credit when the child you recommend enrolls in our program!
